Thank you for using JioKrishi App! Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy, and to help ensure a rewarding experience for all users, we provide this privacy policy.

This Application (“App”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This policy, together with the terms and conditions of the App, outlines the App’s privacy practices regarding the collection, use and safeguard of your information through the App and the services offered thereupon. Your clicking of the “I agree” button and submission of personal information — or, if you are a minor, submission by your parents/guardian or by you with their permission — will be deemed acceptance of this Privacy Policy.

We are obligated to protect your information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. This Privacy Policy is subject to modification based on changes in business, legal and regulatory requirements and will be updated online. We will notify you whenever any change is made. You are encouraged to periodically visit this page to review the Privacy Policy and any changes to it.

Your mobile service provider, mobile operating system provider, third party applications (including apps pre-loaded on your Android/iOS/customized-ROM Device), social media platforms and websites you access may also collect, use and share information about you and your usage. Personal information can identify you — name, age, gender, contact information and your interests in products and services. Sensitive personal information carries the meaning defined by applicable law. Collection: the App may collect personal information, whenever relevant, to provide information and complete transactions or products you request or authorize. Usage: to validate and process your request, improve App quality, help you choose services that meet your needs, facilitate internal business operations and legal/regulatory compliance, provide recommendations and marketing. Sharing: we may disclose personal information to affiliates to perform services, provide advertising/promotions, search results and links, and customer service; and to external organizations/individuals where reasonably necessary to meet law, detect or prevent fraud/security/technical issues, or protect rights, property or safety of customers or the public. Retention: information is retained only for the limited duration necessary unless a longer period is required or permitted by law; once the purpose is achieved it is deleted safely and securely.

Non-personal information is any data that does not personally identify you and may include unique system or hardware identifiers, system or application software, and peripherals. Any non-personal information, when combined with personal information, shall be treated as personal information. Collection: the App may collect diagnostic, technical and usage-related information, which is anonymized so it does not personally identify you. Usage: gathered periodically to provide and improve the App and its services, facilitate software updates and product support, and verify compliance with this policy. Sharing: we may provide App partners and third party developers a subset of diagnostic information relevant to their software, hardware and/or services, as long as it does not personally identify you. Retention: retained only for the limited duration necessary unless a longer period is required or permitted by law; once the purpose is achieved it is deleted safely and securely.

The App, its licensees and agents may access, collect and analyse your usage and location-related information on a regular basis through Bluetooth, Wi-Fi signals and other technologies to perform the services and improve the design, functionality, performance and content of the App. To collect geo-location information, location settings must be enabled on your Device; in some cases the App may request that you enable them. Except where specific services you request require personal identification, the App collects location data anonymously. By using the App you consent to the transmission, collection, maintenance, processing and use of your location data and queries to provide and improve such services.

Information collected by cookies and other technologies is treated as non-personal information. However, to the extent that IP addresses or similar identifiers are considered personal information by local law, we treat any information linked to such identifiers as personal information. Similarly, to the extent that non-personal information is combined with personal information, we treat the combined information as personal information.

The App also may collect other information about you in ways that it describes to you or otherwise with your consent. You can choose not to provide certain types of information, but doing so may affect your ability to avail and/or use some services.

The App may include links to other websites/applications or display advertisements from third parties that link to third party websites. Such websites/applications are governed by their respective privacy policies, which are outside the App’s control. Once you leave our servers, use of any information you provide is governed by that operator’s privacy policy, which may differ from the App’s. If you cannot find such a privacy policy via a link from the website’s homepage, contact the relevant website/application directly for more information.

The App strives to keep records updated and accurate. You are responsible for ensuring the information you provide is correct, current and updated, and that you have all rights, permissions and consents to provide it. Deletion of certain information or withdrawal of consent may lead to cancellation of your access to the App or certain features. We may not be able to process a correction, update or deletion request if it is not supported by valid documents, if data retention is required by applicable law, law-enforcement requests or judicial proceedings, if it is extremely difficult to implement, or if it risks the privacy of other users.
