- Personal Information we collect
Personal information is information that can identify you — name, age, gender, contact information, products/services you are interested in. Sensitive personal information carries the meaning defined by applicable law. Collection: the Portal may collect personal information, whenever relevant, to provide information and complete transactions or products you request or authorize. Usage: to validate and process your request, help you choose services that meet your needs, facilitate internal business operations and legal/regulatory compliance, provide recommendations and marketing, and facilitate your purchases. Sharing: we may disclose personal information to affiliates to perform services, provide advertising/promotions, search results and links, and customer service; and to external organizations/individuals where reasonably necessary to meet law, detect or prevent fraud/security/technical issues, or protect the rights, property or safety of our customers or the public. Retention: information is retained only for the limited duration necessary, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law; once the purpose is achieved it is deleted safely and securely.
- Non-Personal Information
Non-personal information is any data that does not personally identify you and may include unique system or hardware identifiers, system or application software, and peripherals. Any non-personal information, when combined with personal information, shall be treated as personal information. Collection: the Portal may collect diagnostic, technical and usage-related information. Usage: this information is gathered periodically to provide and improve the Portal and its services, facilitate portal support, and verify compliance with this policy. Sharing: we may provide Portal partners a subset of diagnostic information relevant to their software, hardware and/or services, as long as it does not personally identify you. Retention: information is retained only for the limited duration necessary unless a longer period is required or permitted by law; once the purpose is achieved it is deleted safely and securely.
- Location Services
The Portal, its licensees and agents may access, collect and analyse your usage and location-related information on a regular basis through Bluetooth, Wi-Fi signals and other technologies to perform the services and improve the design, functionality, performance and content of the Portal. To collect geo-location information, location settings must be enabled on your device; in some cases the Portal may request that you enable them. Except where specific services you request require personal identification, the Portal collects location data anonymously. By using the Portal you consent to the transmission, collection, maintenance, processing and use of your location data and queries to provide and improve such services.
- Cookies
Information collected by cookies and other technologies is treated as non-personal information. However, to the extent that IP addresses or similar identifiers are considered personal information by local law, we treat any information linked to such identifiers as personal information. Similarly, to the extent that non-personal information is combined with personal information, we treat the combined information as personal information.
- Other Information the Portal collects
The Portal also may collect other information about you in ways that it describes to you or otherwise with your consent. You can choose not to provide certain types of information, but doing so may affect your ability to avail and/or use some services.
- Third Party Applications, Websites & Services
The Portal may include links to other websites/applications or display advertisements from third parties that link to third party websites. Such websites/applications are governed by their respective privacy policies, which are outside the Portal’s control. Use of any information you provide while using a third party website or application is governed by that operator’s privacy policy, which may differ from the Portal’s. If you cannot find such a privacy policy via a link from the website’s homepage, contact the relevant website/application operator directly for more information.
- Access, Correction and Deletion
The Portal strives to keep records updated and accurate. You are responsible for ensuring the information you provide is correct, current and updated, and that you have all rights, permissions and consents to provide it. Deletion of certain information or withdrawal of consent may lead to cancellation of your access to the Portal or certain features. We may not be able to process a correction, update or deletion request if it is not supported by valid documents, if data retention is required by applicable law, law-enforcement requests or judicial proceedings, if it is extremely difficult to implement (e.g. backup copies or a new system/technical redesign), or if it risks the privacy of other users.
